Making a difference today and allowing for the changing needs of future generations.
The Coronavirus crisis has shown that community is at the heart of all of our lives and represents a time of huge achievement for community organisations which have adapted and transformed the way they work in order to respond to the needs of local people.
The Foundation has awarded over three times the amount of grants in 2020, at £2.3m, compared with £703,000 in 2019, representing our busiest year to date. We are now assisting our local charitable sector to recover from the impact of the pandemic, to become stronger and better prepared for any future crises.
